Canada Invites 6,000 Foreigners for Permanent Residency
Canada recently invited 6,000 foreign workers to apply for permanent residency.
This is part of a big lottery called Express Entry, which helps skilled workers live in Canada permanently.
To get an invitation, workers need to have at least one year of work experience in Canada and meet other requirements.
So far this year, Canada has invited over 100,000 people to apply for permanent residency.
The latest group of invitations went to workers with a ranking score of 520 or higher.
This process helps Canada welcome talented workers who already have experience living and working in the country.
Canada issued 6,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency under the Canadian Experience Class Express Entry lottery.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this draw was 520.
So far in 2025, Canada has issued over 100,000 ITAs through the Express Entry system.
To be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class, applicants must have at least one year of paid skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years.
The Express Entry system includes three programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
