Axis Bank revises FD rates for NRIs: Comparing NRI fixed deposits vs NRI fixed deposits plus · businesstoday.in

Axis Bank has changed the interest rates it offers on certain fixed deposits for non-resident Indians.

The new rates apply from August 26, 2026.

Regular NRI fixed deposits allow customers to withdraw their money before the end date.

The NRI Fixed Deposit Plus product does not allow early withdrawal.

In exchange for locking away the money, the Plus product can pay more interest.

Regular deposits below ₹3 crore can earn between 6.25% and 6.50%.

Plus deposits of ₹25 crore or more can earn as much as 6.70%.

Customers must choose between easier access to their money and potentially higher returns.
