TVK's Next Campaign Meet at Perundurai
The Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) party is having a big meeting on December 18 in Perundurai, Erode district.
The meeting will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on a 10-acre land near the national highway.
The party's president, Vijay, will be there.
This is the first big outdoor meeting since a sad accident happened in Karur in September.
The police have given permission for the meeting after the party agreed to 84 conditions.
The meeting is important because it's the first event organized by a new leader, K A Sengottaiyan, who joined the party recently.
The party wants to reach more people before the elections.
TVK's next campaign meeting will be held on December 18, Thursday, between 11 am and 1 pm at Perundurai in Erode district.
The meeting will be organized on a 10-acre land near the national highway, fulfilling all 84 conditions laid down by the police.
This is the second outdoor event of the party after the stampede at Karur on September 27, which led to a delay in political rallies.
Vijay, the TVK president, had been holding indoor meetings since the Karur tragedy, including one at a private engineering college auditorium in November.
The Perundurai meeting marks the revival of the party's outreach program ahead of the elections and is the first event organized by K A Sengottaiyan, who joined TVK on November 27.
