Uttarakhand Expands Overseas Jobs Scheme, 106 Youths Placed

Uttarakhand is helping young people learn languages and skills for jobs in other countries.

The state says 106 people have found overseas work through the scheme.

Most of them are working in Japan, while others are in Saudi Arabia and Germany.

There are 158 centres where people can learn German or Japanese.

More centres are planned in two districts.

The government is also looking at possible jobs in Jamaica, Ethiopia and Zambia.

Officials will plan training based on the skills those countries need.
