Jana Nayagan Nears ₹300 Cr Worldwide Milestone on Day 11
Jana Nayagan is a movie starring the popular actor Thalapathy Vijay.
On the 11th day after it opened, the film earned a big jump in money, almost reaching a total of 300 crore rupees worldwide.
In India, it made about 175 crore rupees, and overseas it earned 91 crore rupees.
The movie did especially well in Tamil Nadu, where many people went to see it.
The film is a remake of a Telugu hit called Bhagavanth Kesari and was directed by H. Vinoth.
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan earned a 37% jump on Day 11, bringing worldwide total to ₹295.92 cr.
The film is just a few crores shy of the ₹300 cr milestone, with India net at ₹175.60 cr and overseas at ₹91 cr.
Day 11 India gross was ₹12.40 cr, with Tamil version leading at ₹9.75 cr and Hindi and Telugu versions adding ₹0.85 cr and ₹0.10 cr respectively.
The film’s occupancy in Tamil Nadu peaked at 75.46% in evening shows, while Hindi version stayed around 26% overall.
Directed by H. Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is a remake of the 2023 Telugu hit Bhagavanth Kesari and stars Vijay, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju and others.
