Bajaj Auto Expands Chetak E-Scooter Capacity

Bajaj Auto Expands Chetak E-Scooter Capacity

Bajaj Auto, a big company in India, is making more of their electric scooter called Chetak.

They want to go from making 50,000 scooters each month to 60,000 because lots of people want to buy them.

The company's boss, Dinesh Thapar, said this will help them sell more scooters and grow.

They are also making more of other vehicles too.

The scooters are now making money, which is good for the company.

There's a new rule in Delhi that might stop people from buying regular scooters and only let them buy electric ones.

Some people think this is good for the environment, but others think it takes away choices from customers.

Bajaj Auto is also working on electric motorcycles and plans to sell them first in other countries.
