South Coast Railway Reports Full Water Test Compliance

South Coast Railway checked drinking water for a week to see if it was safe.

The checks took place from September 25 to October 1 in all four divisions.

Workers tested water at railway stations and in railway colonies and facilities.

The station tests for chlorine and bacteria all passed.

Six of seven chemical tests at stations passed, while one result was still awaited.

Tests at colonies and facilities also met safety standards.

The railway’s general manager, Sandeep Mathur, reviews water quality every week.
