Ayodhya Ram Temple Adopts Eco-Friendly Prasad Boxes
During Dussehra, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will use eco-friendly boxes for prasad and water bottles.
These items are made from PLA, a plant-based plastic, instead of regular plastic.
This aligns with the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, which focuses on cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
Balrampur Chini Mills is providing these boxes, in collaboration with MSME converters, with support from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
This initiative aims to make celebrations more sustainable, familiarizing people with eco-conscious alternatives.
Ayodhya's Ram temple is using eco-friendly prasad boxes and water bottles for Dussehra.
250,000 PLA prasad boxes and 100,000 water bottles have been manufactured.
Balrampur Chini Mills partnered with MSME converters for this initiative.
The initiative aligns with the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign.
PLA is a food-safe alternative to single-use plastics.
