Zerodha's Kamath: India's GDP Growth Isn't Enough
India's growing economy is exciting, but it's not just about how big it is.
Think of it like this: even if a country is wealthy, if its workers aren't very productive or if not many people are working, it's not as strong as it could be.
Also, India spends very little on new ideas and inventions (research and development) compared to other countries.
To keep growing, India needs to invest more in education and research, or talented people might leave.
This requires changes from both the government and private companies, so India can truly succeed.
Nithin Kamath of Zerodha shared insights on India's economic standing.
Kamath says that India is the fourth-largest economy.
He states that GDP comparisons alone don't tell the whole story.
India's R&D spending is significantly lower than other nations.
Kamath suggests that India must invest in education and research.
