Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Set to Open by October 2025
The government is building a new, fast road called the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway.
This road will make traveling between Delhi and Dehradun much quicker, taking only 2.5 hours instead of the usual 6.5.
The road will go through different cities and states and cost a lot of money.
Because they had to cut down some trees to build the road, they are planting new ones to help the environment.
The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is slated to open by October 2025.
The expressway will reduce travel time between Delhi and Dehradun to 2.5 hours.
The route starts from Akshardham in Delhi and passes through Uttar Pradesh to Dehradun.
The project cost is ₹11,868.6 crore.
Afforestation efforts are underway to mitigate environmental impact.
