Indore Civic Body Approves Monument, Link Road And Tax Reforms

Indore’s city council made several decisions about improving the city.

It approved a new monument at Palasia Square.

It also approved a road connecting Kanadia Road with Khajrana Temple.

Some projects will be built or operated with help from private companies.

The council wants to make property paperwork simpler.

People with proper ownership documents may be able to open property-tax accounts even in illegal colonies.

However, taxes will not be collected on government land that has been encroached upon.

The council also approved new food hubs, markets, traffic signals and support for Ganesh festival activities.
