BJP and TVK Eye Expelled AIADMK Leaders
Two leaders, O Panneerselvam and T T V Dinakaran, who were once part of a big political party called AIADMK, are now being considered by other parties for an alliance.
The BJP, a national party, wants to bring them into their group to win more votes in the next big election in 2026.
Another new party, TVK, is also trying to get these leaders to join them.
The current leader of AIADMK, Palaniswami, is okay with the BJP making alliances but doesn't want to share more than 74 seats out of the total 234.
There's also a chance that TVK might team up with the Congress party, another big national party.
BJP and TVK are interested in forming alliances with expelled AIADMK leaders O Panneerselvam and T T V Dinakaran.
BJP's Amit Shah has tasked former BJP State president K Annamalai to bring the leaders into the NDA coalition.
AIADMK's Palaniswami agrees to BJP's alliance but insists on not sharing more than 74 seats.
TVK's strategist K A Sengottaiyan is making efforts to include the leaders in TVK.
There is speculation about a potential tie-up between TVK and the Congress party.
