August Financial Updates: UPI Changes, Trading Hours, and SBI Cards
Starting August 1, 2025, changes are coming to how you use UPI apps.
You'll only be able to check your balance and view linked accounts a limited number of times per day.
Automatic payments will happen at specific times to help the system run smoothly.
Also, some SBI credit cards will no longer have free air accident insurance.
Additionally, trading hours are extended, and fuel prices could change.
UPI users face new limits on balance checks (50/day) and linked account views (25/day) per app.
AutoPay transactions shift to before 10 AM, between 1 PM and 5 PM, and after 9:30 PM to ease system load.
SBI Cards will end free air accident insurance on certain co-branded cards.
Repo and TREP trading hours extended to 9 AM - 4 PM.
LPG, CNG, and aviation fuel prices may change.
