Indore Sets October Deadlines for Key Master Plan Road Stretches
Indore is building several roads as part of its Master Plan.
The city’s municipal commissioner met with the agencies doing the work.
He told them to add workers and equipment where needed so projects can finish on time.
Some road sections have deadlines in October.
Other work, including culvert construction and a road near Gutkeshwar Temple, also needs to move faster.
Officials must finish fencing near City Forest before starting the road there.
Construction sites must have safety measures such as barriers and signs.
The commissioner also asked agencies and city departments to work together to solve delays.
Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal directed construction agencies to speed up work on Master Plan road projects in Packages 1, 2 and 4.
Victory One was told to finish the Neminath–Jinsi–Laxmibai statue road by October 30.
SKS Construction was given an October 25 deadline for the Sanwer Road petrol pump–Shivshakti Nagar road.
PD Agrawal Infrastructure Ltd was directed to complete the Musakhedi–Shri Sanwaria Dham Temple service road by October 30 and the Gutkeshwar Road work by October 25.
Agencies were ordered to improve coordination, provide proper barricades and signs, and follow safety standards at construction sites.
