Advocate withdraws complaint against Noida girl after Modi forgives her

A teenage girl in India said some bad words about the Prime Minister during a protest.

A video of her speaking went viral on the internet, and a lawyer named Smriti Singh Chandel complained to the police.

The police registered a special kind of case called a zero FIR.

The girl made a video saying sorry and told everyone it was her first and last mistake.

The Prime Minister said he forgave the students who used bad words about him and his mother.

Because the girl said sorry and the Prime Minister forgave her, the lawyer decided to take back her complaint.

The lawyer also dropped complaints against seven other girls.

The girl's mother says her daughter is only 15 years old, but the police papers said she was older.

The mother says people kept coming to their home and the family felt scared, so they moved away.

The police say the case may be cancelled and no regular FIR has been filed yet.
