Assam Court Rejects Bail for Three in Zubeen Garg Death Case
A famous singer from Assam, Zubeen Garg, died while swimming in Singapore.
The court in Assam has said that three people involved in the case cannot be released on bail.
These people are accused of either murder or helping in the death of the singer.
The court believes they have enough evidence to keep them in jail.
The singer's death happened during a trip where he was supposed to perform at a festival.
Some people want the government to give him the highest award in India, called the Bharat Ratna, after his death.
An Assam court rejected the bail petitions of musician Amritprava Mahanta and two personal security officers, Nandeswar Borah and Paresh Baishya, accused in the death of singer Zubeen Garg.
Mahanta was charged with murder, while Borah and Baishya were charged with criminal conspiracy and breach of trust.
The court found that the charges against the accused were serious and punishable by death or life imprisonment.
