IIT Delhi Retains Top Spot in India, Panjab University Improves Rankings
In the QS Sustainability Rankings 2026, IIT Delhi kept its position as the best university in India.
Panjab University also did well, improving its global rank and moving up in Asia and India.
It also made gains in Pharmacy and Engineering rankings.
IIT Delhi retains top spot as India's best university in QS Sustainability Rankings 2026
IIT Delhi ranked 205 globally, followed by IIT Bombay (235) and IIT Kharagpur (236)
Panjab University (PU) improves to 569th in global QS Sustainability Rankings 2026
PU rose from 710th to 569th worldwide, from 189th to 144th in Asia, and from 21st to 16th in India
In NIRF rankings, PU's Pharmacy department climbed from 7th to 3rd, and it re-entered the engineering list at 93rd position
