WEF Announces New Centers in AP
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is opening five new centers around the world to help with new technologies like AI and green energy.
One of these centers will be in Andhra Pradesh, India.
This center will focus on making energy cleaner and keeping digital systems safe.
The WEF wants these centers to help different countries work together and make sure new technologies are good for everyone.
There are already two other centers in India, in Mumbai and Telangana.
The WEF started this network in 2017 to bring governments, companies, and experts together to solve problems and make new technologies work for society.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh's minister met with leaders from Blackstone and Brookfield Asset Management to discuss big investments in the state.
They talked about building offices, industrial parks, and renewable energy projects.
Both companies see Andhra Pradesh as a great place to invest because of its growing cities and good governance.
WEF announces five new Centers for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Andhra Pradesh, France, UK, and UAE.
India will now host three WEF-linked centers, with existing ones in Mumbai and Telangana.
The centers will focus on AI, energy transition, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
The Andhra Pradesh center will specialize in energy and cyber resilience, including green energy systems and digital security.
WEF aims to foster global cooperation and practical solutions through these centers.
