Hyderabad Woman First Two-Time Kidney Transplant Recipient in Antarctica
Sneha B. Raju, a 34-year-old woman from Hyderabad, India, has achieved something incredible.
She is the first person in the world who has had two kidney transplants to travel to the inside of Antarctica.
She camped there overnight and even crossed the Antarctic Circle.
This journey was very hard, especially because of her medical condition.
She had to prepare for years, see her doctor often, and be very careful.
The trip started from a place called Ushuaia in Argentina.
Sneha had to cross a very rough sea called the Drake Passage, which was tough because she had to take her medicines on time despite feeling sick.
She also experienced the midnight sun in Antarctica, where there is no real night.
Sneha loves trekking and has done many challenging treks before.
She works as a communications head and also talks about the importance of organ donation.
Her story shows that with good preparation and trust in doctors, people can achieve great things.
