UP Plans 200,000 Jobs by 2026
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, is planning to give government jobs to about 200,000 young people by 2026.
This is because unemployment has become a big issue, especially after the recent elections.
The government wants to fill many new jobs and also complete the hiring for jobs that have been waiting for a long time.
Most of these jobs will be in the police and education departments.
The government has already given jobs to 850,000 people in the past 8.5 years.
However, there are some problems, like arguments about how jobs are reserved for different groups.
The government is trying to make sure everything goes smoothly so they can meet their goals before the next big elections.
UP government plans to provide 200,000 government jobs by 2026 to address unemployment.
Recruitment will include 150,000 new posts and 20,000 pending recruitments.
Police and education departments will account for the bulk of the hiring.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is personally reviewing recruitment bodies to expedite the process.
Controversy has arisen over OBC reservation in lekhpal recruitment, with the Samajwadi Party alleging under-allocation.
