Children’s Science Festival and Amaravati Balotsavam
Two big events for kids happened in different places.
One was a science fair in Tirupati where kids showed their science projects and performed science plays.
There was also a new part called an Ideathon where kids shared their ideas about helping the planet.
A important scientist started the event.
The other event was a big cultural and academic festival in Vijayawada called Amaravati Balotsavam.
It lasted three days and had lots of competitions in science, arts, and sports.
The theme was about protecting the environment.
Many important people were there to start the event.
Both events were fun ways for kids to show what they know and be creative.
The Children’s Science Festival began on Saturday at the Regional Science Centre in Tirupati, featuring 70 STEM models and 35 science drama performances.
A new Ideathon was introduced, where students presented ideas on sustainability, social issues, and practical solutions.
The festival was inaugurated by IIT Tirupati Director Dr K N Satyanarayana, who encouraged students to develop a scientific mindset.
The Amaravati Balotsavam, a cultural and academic festival, will take place from December 9 to 11 in Vijayawada, with over 12,000 students participating in 43 academic and 17 cultural competitions.
The Balotsavam will be inaugurated by Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh, and will focus on the theme of environmental protection.
