Neemrana Hotels to Restore Heritage Sites in UP and MP
Imagine old, forgotten buildings in India, like forts and palaces.
Neemrana Hotels is working with the government to fix them up.
They will turn these places into special hotels, so people can stay in rooms where important people once lived.
This helps save old buildings and gives people a chance to learn about the past while they enjoy their stay.
Local people will get jobs, and it will also bring tourists to the areas.
The first places to be fixed are a fort in Uttar Pradesh and a palace in Madhya Pradesh, with work starting now and expected to be done in a few years.
Neemrana Hotels is partnering with Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh to restore two heritage sites.
The projects, Baruasagar Fort (UP) and Raja Rani Mahal (MP), will be developed under a PPP model.
Restoration of Baruasagar Fort is expected to be completed by 2027 and Raja Rani Mahal by 2028.
Both sites will be transformed into "non-hotel" experiences with guest rooms, restaurants, and cultural spaces.
The projects aim to preserve Indian heritage and promote tourism, involving local artisans and communities.
