Bombay HC Orders Fresh FDA Inspection of Park Inn by Radisson
The Bombay High Court has ordered a new inspection of the Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Navi Mumbai.
The hotel's food licence was suspended by the FDA after a surprise inspection where the hotel scored 61% in compliance.
The court wants the FDA to check again and report back.
If the hotel has fixed all the problems, the suspension will be lifted, and the hotel can operate again.
The court thinks the FDA should have given the hotel more time to fix the issues before suspending the licence.
Bombay High Court ordered a fresh FDA inspection of Park Inn by Radisson, Navi Mumbai.
The court set aside the suspension of the hotel's FSSAI licence, which was suspended on July 3, 2026.
The FDA had given the hotel a compliance score of 65 out of 108 (61%) during a surprise inspection.
The court directed the FDA to form a committee to inspect the hotel and submit a report by July 20, 2026.
The hotel's petition argued that the FDA did not provide enough time to fix the issues before suspending the licence.
