UK Man's Legal Fight Leads to Record Traffic Cone Collection
A man named David Morgan from the UK started collecting traffic cones to prove his company's designs were original in a legal case.
He won the case and kept collecting cones, which became his hobby.
He now has over 500 cones, including many different shapes, sizes, and colors.
He even has cones from other countries, like one he found in Corsica.
David is careful to collect cones ethically, either by trading or getting permission.
His collection is so big that it holds a world record, and people are amazed when they see it on his lawn.
David Morgan, a former plastics company employee, started collecting traffic cones to defend his company in a legal dispute over design rights in 1986.
His collection grew rapidly, and by 2000, it was verified by Guinness World Records as the largest, with 137 cones.
By 2007, his collection had grown to over 500 cones, including about two-thirds of all cone designs ever made.
David's collection includes cones from various locations, including one from an airport in Corsica, and he collects them ethically, either by trading or getting permission.
His lawn once served as a display area for the cones, and visitors were amazed by the sight.
