INOX Executive Director First in India to Own Tesla Model Y
Siddharth Jain, an executive at INOX Group, is the first from India Inc.
to get a Tesla Model Y. He got the car on September 15, 2025.
The wait for the car was long, dating back to 2017.
Tesla launched in India in July 2025 with a Mumbai showroom, followed by a Delhi location.
The Model Y is available in two trims.
Despite high import taxes, it's seen as a turning point for EVs in India.
Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik was the first to receive the car.
