Supreme Court Implements Staff Reservation Roster
The Supreme Court is now using a new system to make sure people from certain groups get a fair chance at jobs and promotions.
They're following a rule from a long time ago that says they need to have a plan to ensure everyone gets a fair shake.
This plan sets aside spots for people from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
If anyone working there thinks something is wrong with the plan, they can tell the court.
The goal is to make sure everyone has the same opportunities.
Supreme Court introduces a roster to streamline staff reservation.
Roster implements a post-wise quota, as per the 1995 R K Sabharwal ruling.
15% quota for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes.
The policy applies to direct recruitment and promotions, from Registrar to peon.
Staff can submit objections to the Registrar (Recruitment).
