Reliance Completes Star Television Merger

Reliance Industries has completed the merger of Star Television Productions Ltd with Jiostar India Private Ltd.

This merger was announced on December 1, 2024, and became effective on November 30, 2025.

Jiostar India Private Ltd is the new name for Star India Private Ltd.

Reliance Industries informed the stock exchange about this merger on November 14, 2024.

This merger means that Star Television Productions Ltd is now part of Jiostar India Private Ltd.

The combined company is valued at $8.5 billion and reported revenues of ₹7,232 crore and a profit of ₹1,322 crore in the September quarter.
