VMC Lauded for Environmental Efforts by GEF and UNIDO
The city of Vijayawada is doing a good job of protecting the environment, and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and UNIDO, which are like groups that help the environment, noticed!
They said the city is doing great with its sewage treatment and biogas projects, especially in Ramalingeswara Nagar.
They gave money to fix up the sewage plant, making it better and cleaner.
The city is now asking for more help to become a super clean city, focusing on clean water, trash, and better drains.
The GEF and UNIDO are happy to keep helping, and they might even have their closing party in Vijayawada!
