Delhi faces severe air pollution and flight disruptions
Delhi is having a really bad time with air pollution and fog.
The air quality is very poor, which is making it hard for people to breathe, especially those with health problems.
Because of the thick fog, many flights have been cancelled or delayed.
The fog is so dense that it's hard to see, and the air quality is in the 'severe' category.
People are being advised to stay indoors and wear masks.
The fog is also making it very cold, with temperatures dropping to 8.8°C.
The situation is expected to continue for the next few days.
Delhi's air quality index (AQI) reached severe levels, with readings between 414 and 470.
Dense fog caused the cancellation of 10 flights and delays to over 270 others at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
Visibility on some runways dropped to as low as 50 metres during the early morning hours.
Residents are advised to stay indoors and wear masks due to the hazardous air quality.
The fog and pollution are expected to persist, with temperatures ranging from 8.8°C to 23°C.
