Opposition's Capacity Crisis in 2026
As 2025 comes to an end, India's opposition parties are facing a big problem.
They need to become stronger and more serious if they want to be a real alternative to the current government.
Right now, they spend too much time reacting to the government instead of coming up with their own good ideas.
They also need to have clear and consistent messages that people can understand and believe in.
Finally, their leaders need to be more trustworthy and competent.
If they don't make these changes, they might lose the next election in 2026, just like they did in 2025.
India's opposition lacks institutional maturity, narrative clarity, and leadership credibility.
Opposition parties are often reactive rather than proactive in their approach.
They need to focus on people's issues and embrace honest accountability.
Selective secularism and inconsistent economic messaging have weakened public trust.
The opposition risks remaining a protest force rather than a governing alternative.
