Telangana Government Allows Registration of Eligible Section 22-A Properties

Telangana Government Allows Registration of Eligible Section 22-A Properties

The Telangana government changed how some restricted properties can be registered.

Plots, houses, and flats on the Section 22-A list may qualify if they have proper government approvals.

These approvals can come from bodies such as GHMC, HMDA, municipal bodies, or DTCP.

Owners must provide at least one link document showing a registration made after the approval.

District committees will check each case and help solve problems.

The government says it will study the land records and legal details instead of approving every property automatically.

The committee will include senior district officials and representatives of local planning bodies.

Another government memo addresses homes in about 64 colonies.

A separate decision concerns regularizing homes for Singareni workers.
