UP's Breeder Seed Nurseries Increase, Boosting Sugarcane Farming

Uttar Pradesh is working hard to help sugarcane farmers.

They've almost doubled the number of places where they grow the seeds for the sugarcane plants.

This means farmers will get better seeds.

In 2024-25, they gave out a lot of these new seeds, more than anyone else in the country.

To make sure the seeds are good, they check them in three different steps, from when they are planted until they are ready to be harvested.

This will help farmers grow more sugarcane.
