DevX Reports 71% YoY Profit Decline Amid Revenue Growth
Imagine DevX is like a lemonade stand.
In this quarter, they sold a lot more lemonade than last year, making more money from sales.
However, the cost of making the lemonade, like buying lemons and sugar, also went up a lot.
Because the costs increased so much, even though they sold more, the amount of money they got to keep after paying for everything was much less than last year.
So, they made more money selling lemonade, but kept less profit because their expenses were higher.
DevX's net profit for Q2 FY26 dropped 71% year-over-year to INR 1.8 Cr.
Operating revenue increased by 50% to INR 51.8 Cr in the September quarter.
Total expenses for the quarter rose approximately 26% year-over-year to INR 52.8 Cr.
The company reported a net profit of INR 6.2 Cr in the same quarter last year.
Revenue in the year-ago quarter was INR 34.5 Cr, with expenses at INR 42.1 Cr.
