Haryana CM Releases Rs 858 Crore Under Welfare Schemes
The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, recently released a lot of money to help people in the state.
He gave Rs 858 crore to different groups through various schemes.
A big part of this money, Rs 659 crore, went to farmers to help them with things like not burning crop waste and using better farming methods.
Another Rs 181 crore was given to women as part of a scheme to support them financially.
Additionally, Rs 18.56 crore was given to help women buy gas cylinders at a lower cost.
The government wants to make sure farmers and women have the support they need to improve their lives.
Starting in January 2026, more women will be able to get this help because the rules have been changed to include more people.
The money given to women will also be split into two parts: one part they can use right away, and the other part will be saved for them in a special account.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini released Rs 858 crore under various welfare schemes.
Rs 659 crore was allocated to farmers under five agriculture-related schemes, including incentives for not burning crop residue and adopting Direct Seeding of Rice (DSR).
Rs 181 crore was disbursed to 8,63,918 women under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, with the eligibility criteria expanding from January 2026 to include more women.
Rs 18.56 crore was provided as a gas cylinder refill subsidy under the Har Ghar–Har Grihini Yojana, benefiting 6,08,842 women.
The schemes aim to support farmers, empower women, and provide household welfare, with a focus on long-term financial security and sustainability.
