11-Year-Old ‘Soldier’ Sings for Safer Roads in Indore

There is an 11-year-old boy named Aaditya Tiwari in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, who is helping to make the roads safer.

He wears a soldier's uniform and sings songs at traffic signals to get people's attention.

Then, he politely asks them to follow traffic rules, like turning off their engines at red lights and not driving on the wrong side of the road.

Aaditya's journey started when he was eight years old.

He was inspired by his older sister, Disha, who has been an activist since she was six.

Aaditya is part of the Indore Traffic Mitra programme, which is supported by the Indore Municipal Corporation and the Indore Traffic Police.

His goal is to make Indore the number one city in traffic discipline, just like it is number one in cleanliness.

Aaditya is a Class 6 student, and he shows that you don't have to be old to make a difference.

He is making Indore's roads safer, one song at a time.
