India’s August GST Collections Near ₹2 Lakh Crore, Refunds Surge
India collected almost ₹2 lakh crore in GST taxes during August 2026.

Refunds jumped 67.9% to ₹31,795 crore, leaving net GST revenue at ₹1,68,057 crore, up 8.3%.
