Agara Lake to Become Water Sports Hub in Bengaluru
Imagine a big lake near Bengaluru called Agara Lake.
The government wants to make it a super fun place with water sports like boating and jet skiing!
They will build special areas for these activities and let companies help run them for a few years.
This is to make the lake a popular spot for people to visit and have fun.
The government is also looking into using solar power at other lakes and many lakes in the city are full of water this year thanks to good rain.
Agara Lake in Kaggalipura is being developed into a water-adventure sports destination.
The Karnataka government plans to introduce speed boating, jet skiing, and kayaking at the lake.
Private operators will manage equipment and facilities with contracts likely for five years.
