Ayodhya Boatmen Trained as Cultural Ambassadors
Ayodhya is a famous place in India where many people visit to see the Ram Mandir.
The government wants to help the local boatmen who take people on boat rides in the Saryu River.
They are giving the boatmen special training to make them better at their jobs.
The training teaches them about telling stories, using digital payments, and how to help people in emergencies.
After the training, the boatmen will get special cards to show they are trained.
This will help them make more money and make visitors happier.
The goal is to make sure the boatmen are an important part of Ayodhya's tourism.
The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is training 60 boatmen in Ayodhya to enhance their skills and cultural knowledge.
The three-day program focuses on digital payments, storytelling, disaster management, and first aid.
The training is conducted by the Manyavar Kanshiram Institute of Tourism Management (MKITM) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
