Comic-Con 2024 Kicks Off with Dedicated Fan Attendance
Comic-Con in San Diego is happening, and fans are super excited!
Even though there aren't as many big stars as usual, people are still dressing up and having a blast.
One fan even lost a lot of weight to look like their favorite character.
While the event doesn't have the usual huge movie star panels, it has cool things like George Lucas showing up and previews of new movies and shows.
Plus, there's a new music festival for anime fans.
Despite the cost, people are traveling from all over to enjoy the event.
Comic-Con 2024 in San Diego features devoted fans despite fewer celebrity panels.
Fans prepared extensively, with one losing 30 pounds to cosplay.
This year lacks major A-list celebrity panels, a departure from previous years.
Highlights include George Lucas' debut and panels for upcoming projects like "Tron: Ares".
A two-day music festival called Crunchyroll Anime FanFest is a new addition.
