Sundance 2026 Awards Celebrate Diversity and Resilience

The Sundance Film Festival 2026 just ended, and it gave awards to some really cool movies and documentaries.

These films came from all over the world, like Iran, the Philippines, and even Scotland.

One movie is about a woman who dances and deals with losing someone she loves.

Another movie shows the secret art scene in Iran, where people are brave and stand up for what they believe in.

There's also a film about rich people and workers in the Philippines, and a funny story about siblings who don't want to leave their island in Scotland.

A documentary talks about polar bears in Canada and how people and animals live together.

Lastly, there's a sweet documentary about the oldest people in the world and what it means to live a long life.

All these films show different stories and ideas, making the festival really special.
