Karnataka Police Granted Leave on Birthdays, Anniversaries

The Karnataka police officers and staff will now get leave on their birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

This is to help them spend time with their families and feel better about their jobs.

The Director General of Police, M A Saleem, said this will make the police officers happier and more productive.

It's a way to recognize their hard work and keep them motivated.

The police work hard to keep us safe, and this is a small reward for them.

The order says that all unit heads must give this leave without fail.

This comes after Karnataka also offered paid menstrual leave to women in corporate jobs.
