River Indie E-Scooter Offers 8-Year Extended Warranty
River, an electric scooter company, is now offering a longer warranty.
If you buy their scooter, or if you already have one from April 1st, 2025, the warranty covers the battery and motor for 8 years or 80,000 kilometers.
If the battery's health goes below 70%, they'll replace it.
They will also replace the motor if it cannot be fixed.
New buyers will pay around Rs 8,399 plus tax.
Those with an existing 5-year warranty can upgrade for about Rs 3,399 plus tax, but there's a limited time to do it.
River offers an 8-year/80,000 km extended warranty for the River Indie.
The warranty covers the battery and motor.
The warranty is available to new customers and existing customers (from April 1, 2025).
Existing 5-year warranty holders can upgrade.
Batteries will be replaced if their State of Health (SOH) falls below 70%.
