Bennett University's Bennovate 4.0 Concludes with Startup Competitions and Expert Advice
Bennett University held its big entrepreneur event, Bennovate 4.0, and the last day was packed with learning and competitions.
Experts shared important tips on starting and growing businesses, like making sure your company's basics are strong before trying to get bigger.
They also said that how you tell your business story is super important, even more than the idea itself, because investors like to believe in the person behind the idea.
Students competed in two main contests, Ideathon and Spark Tank Senior.
Ideathon was about creating ideas that help with global goals, and the winners got prizes.
Spark Tank Senior was a bigger competition where startups pitched their plans to real investors for a large prize money.
The winners, Infyn Technologies, impressed everyone with their AI career guide tool.
The event ended by showing how much the summit has grown and setting a high bar for next year, aiming to connect even more young founders with the people who can help their businesses succeed.
The second day of Bennovate 4.0 focused on practical lessons for startups, including advice on scaling and the importance of storytelling from experts like Vaibhav Jain and Piyush Arora.
Experts emphasized that operational soundness from the beginning is crucial, as scaling without fixing core issues can lead to business failure and brand damage.
The Ideathon competition challenged 25 teams to align business concepts with UN Sustainable Development Goals, with Team TeachSaathi winning first place.
Spark Tank Senior, a B-plan competition with a ₹2.5 lakh prize pool, saw 25 startups pitch to investors, with Infyn Technologies winning the top prize of ₹1,00,000 for their AI career guidance product, Myjobb.AI.
Notable figures, including Mr. Vineet Jain and Mr. Naidr Godrej, attended to highlight the event's significance in connecting entrepreneurs with industry leaders and investors.
