Diamond Harbour Road Patchwork Begins After Inspection
Imagine a road that's full of holes and broken sidewalks, making it hard for cars and people to get around.
That's what Diamond Harbour Road was like!
But after lots of complaints and a close call when a van flipped over, the city decided to fix it.
The workers started fixing the sidewalks and roads, especially near the hospital and schools.
They're working in sections, starting with the worst spots.
Local leaders checked everything out first, and they hope to be done fixing the road in about three weeks.
This will help everyone get to school, the hospital, and home safely!
Repair work started on the Diamond Harbour Road stretch near Mominpur.
The work followed an inspection by local councillors and civil engineers.
Footpath restoration began near Bellona Nursing Home and Loyola High School.
Road patchwork is being carried out in phases.
