Musk Says Tesla and SpaceX Will Run Terafab Chip Plant

Elon Musk says Tesla and SpaceX will build and run a new chip factory in Texas called Terafab.

The factory is meant to make computer chips for artificial intelligence.

Musk said another company, TSMC, will not take over the whole factory.

He said TSMC might rent part of the site instead.

Intel is also expected to be involved.

The companies have not explained exactly how the partnerships will work.

They also have not shared when the factory will start making chips.

Musk says the project will help his companies get the computing equipment they need.
