R Sreelekha: BJP's Mayor Hopeful in Kerala

R Sreelekha is a very important woman in Kerala.

She was the first woman to become an IPS officer there.

Recently, her political party, the BJP, won a big election in the city of Thiruvananthapuram.

Now, people are talking about her as the next mayor of the city.

She won her part of the election from a place called Sasthamangalam.

This is a big deal because the BJP hasn't had a mayor there before.

So, R Sreelekha is like their main person for this important job.

She has had a very successful career in the police and has even written books.

She joined the BJP because she wants to help people more.

Some people are happy about this, but others are not, and there have been some fights between different political groups.
