ACA plans world-class cricket infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) wants to build really good cricket stadiums in four places: Visakhapatnam, Mangalagiri, Mulapadu, and Kadapa.
They want these stadiums to be so nice that they can host big cricket matches from all over the world.
The ACA president, Kesineni Sivanath, said they have already brought a lot of international matches to the state in the last year and a half.
They are also going to build a special cricket school in Mulapadu and look for new cricket players in 82 different areas.
The ACA has a new office and is working with a famous coach and a former cricket captain to help the teams play better.
ACA plans to develop world-class cricket infrastructure in Visakhapatnam, Mangalagiri, Mulapadu, and Kadapa.
More international matches have been hosted in Visakhapatnam in the last 1.5 years than in the previous 10 years.
A cricket academy similar to BCCI's Centre of Excellence will be established in Mulapadu.
ACA will host upcoming APL matches in Vizag, Mangalagiri, Mulapadu, and Kadapa.
A rural talent search program will be conducted across 82 rural constituencies to identify young cricketers.
