CSIR-IICT Scientist Honored with 2025 MRSI Medal
Dr. Surya Prakash Singh, a scientist at CSIR-IICT in Hyderabad, has won a big award called the MRSI Medal for 2025.
He's being honored for his work in making special materials that can be used in things like solar cells and tracking parts of cells.
He's also made some special dyes that are safe and glow, which can help scientists study cells better.
Dr. Singh has written a lot of research papers in important science journals, showing how much he knows about his field.
Dr. Surya Prakash Singh, a senior principal scientist at CSIR-IICT, receives the MRSI Medal 2025.
Award recognizes contributions to materials science and advanced functional materials research.
Singh's research focuses on developing materials for chemical and energy sectors, including solar cells.
Notable achievement: development of neutral, room-temperature-stable, non-toxic, and highly fluorescent BODIPY dyes.
