Operation Safed Sagar Review: Kargil War Drama Humanizes Its Soldiers
Operation Safed Sagar is a TV show on Netflix about the Kargil War, a conflict between India and Pakistan in 1999.
The story follows the Indian Air Force, the branch of India's military that flies fighter jets.
The show was directed by Oni Sen and stars actors like Siddharth, Abhay Verma, and Mihir Ahuja.
The makers wanted to show that soldiers are regular people with fears and flaws, not superheroes.
In the show, soldiers make mistakes, argue, and get scared, but they still work together to do their duty.
Reviewers liked that the show does not feel like a loud patriotic advertisement.
It also uses real video from the Kargil conflict to remind viewers that the story really happened.
Some viewers might find some parts slow because there isn't constant action, and the special effects are not always perfect.
Overall, the reviewers really enjoyed it and gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
You can watch it right now on Netflix.
