Indian Army and ITBP conduct joint firing exercise
The Indian Army and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) had a big practice called 'Agni Pariksha' in Arunachal Pradesh.
It was a four-day event where they worked together to get better at fighting as a team.
They used big guns and practiced different ways to shoot them.
This practice helped them learn from each other and work better together in real battles.
They did this in two parts: the first part was from January 19 to 24, and the second part was from January 25 to 28.
The goal was to make sure everyone knows how to use the big guns properly and work together as a team.
Indian Army and ITBP conducted Phase-II of the joint firing exercise 'Agni Pariksha' from January 25-28 in Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh.
Phase-I of the exercise was held from January 19-24 in Sigar, East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh.
The exercise aimed to enhance inter-force coordination, combat preparedness, and familiarize non-gunner personnel with artillery procedures.
Participants included Spearhead Gunners, Artillery Regiment, Infantry Battalions, and ITBP personnel.
The exercise involved live artillery firing and training infantry and ITBP troops to independently conduct multiple artillery firing drills.
